Which came first? The oppressive heat or the need for air conditioning in the oppressive heat which gives off greenhouse gases which heat up the earth and cause more oppressive heat?
I've read countless articles, poems and stories about surviving winter. You know, the stark beauty, the dark, cold land, blah blah. Winter is great.
Now seriously how about surviving summer?
Humid and heavy air, swarming, biting black flies, distant loved ones (don't touch me- your feet are hot!)
Where are the poets for this stuff?
